Seeing the Need Firsthand

Before making any donation, our team visited Akwaburaso DA Primary School to understand the real conditions on the ground. What we found were determined, eager children learning in classrooms with bare concrete floors, worn wooden desks, and very limited resources — yet each child showed up ready to learn. This visit shaped exactly what we would bring back.

On 4th December 2023, our team returned with food supplies, beverages, exercise books, and other essential items. The smiles on the children's faces said everything. Alongside the pupils, teachers, and community members, we gathered to celebrate and reaffirm that the Ayzal Foundation stands with these communities for the long term.

Supporting Ghana's Deaf Community

For our second project, the Ayzal Foundation travelled to the Eastern Region of Ghana to visit Kibi Deaf School — a school serving children with hearing impairments who face unique challenges in accessing quality education and basic necessities. After learning about their pressing needs, we returned with a comprehensive set of donations to help facilitate their daily learning and living conditions.

This project was particularly meaningful because it reached a community that is often overlooked. The joy and energy from the students — many of whom communicated their gratitude through sign language and broad smiles — was unforgettable.

Learning Materials, Food & a Water Pump

The Ayzal Foundation team arrived at Kibi Deaf School and was welcomed by over a hundred excited pupils and staff. We donated learning materials, food supplies, and — a highlight of this project — a water pump, which will provide the school with reliable access to clean water for years to come.

Feeding Fasting Communities at Iftar

For our third project, the Ayzal Foundation organised a Community Iftar — the breaking of the daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan — serving two different mosques in two communities in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. After sunset prayers (Maghrib), community members gathered to break their fast together with food provided by the Foundation.

This project reflects our commitment to interfaith dialogue, social inclusion, and community well-being — one of the core objectives in our constitution. By reaching across communities during a spiritually significant time, we strengthened bonds and demonstrated that the Ayzal Foundation serves all people regardless of background.

Trede Community Mosque & Kokoben Community Mosque

Our team travelled to both the Trede Community Mosque and the Kokoben Community Mosque, serving food for the Iftar to fasting community members at each location after the Maghrib prayer. Both communities received meals to break their fast together.
